The homeowner paid over $35k for a new gate installation, but the gates were automated to swing out over the footpath toward the road — meaning they had to lift up as they swung out. The geometry was all wrong, the motors weren't designed for it, and after only 18 months the automation was no good. We rehung the gates with new hinges so they now open inwards, and supplied and fitted a brand new Centsys Vantage 500 system. Big gate, 6600mm wide driveway — not a problem.
