Recent Forestdale gate motor repairs
Here are two recent jobs we completed in Forestdale — a Ditec solar swing gate recommission and a Centsys D3 belt drive fix. Both customers left 5-star reviews.
Ditec swing gate always having issues — solar panel + batteries + regulator
We attended a Forestdale property where the customer said the Ditec swing gate setup had “always had issues”. On inspection, the solar panel was damaged, the batteries had been flat for too long and needed replacing, and the regulator wasn't outputting power to the load.
To make the system reliable, we rebuilt the power supply and recommissioned the Ditec automation.
What we did:
Important fix — hidden issue
Part of the customer's “fault since new” turned out to be remote programming. One remote button was preset to pedestrian opening (partial open). When pressed, it only opened the gate part way. The customer didn't know this feature existed. Pedestrian opening is handy for walk-through access — but it needs to be explained properly.
“Very happy with Matt's excellent communication and punctuality. He resolved our gate issue quickly and efficiently.”
Jessica Covele — Forestdale
“Glad the communication and punctuality stood out, and that I could get to you in Forestdale and knock over the gate issue quickly and properly. That's how we like to run things — no mucking around, just get the job done right.” — Matt

Centsys D3 belt drive — flat battery and a loose selector
We also attended a Forestdale property with a Centsys D3 belt drive system that wasn't working due to a flat battery. We replaced the battery and also found the selector on the control board was a bit loose.
Rather than just swapping the battery and leaving, we took the time to show the customer the selector issue and went over how to set remotes and limits on the unit.
What we did:
“Great price. Amazing service! Matt managed to come out same day and had our electric gate motor fixed.”
Mitchell — Forestdale
“Stoked we could get out to you in Forestdale same day and get the electric gate motor sorted. That's what we aim for — quick turnaround and good value.” — Matt
